Job Summary
Base Camp Technician at Grand Canyon University Outdoor Recreation supports gear inventory and maintenance, provides customer service to students and staff, handles rental requests and trip planning, maintains organization and cleanliness of gear, operates campus software, and collaborates with staff to promote a positive program culture. Requires strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and campus software, and the ability to work flexible evening hours within a student-employment context.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
- Previous customer service preferred
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
- Efficient in overall software functions
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledgeable of GCU student programs
