Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards while accepting drink orders from guests and servers. Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout each shift, completing opening and closing duties including stocking, cleaning, and securing areas. Monitor inventory levels for beer, liquor, mixers, and supplies; replenish ice stations and glassware as needed. Follow all cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures while ensuring alcohol service complies with company policies and applicable laws regarding identification and responsible service. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and liquor service
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
