Outdoor Facilities Team Member

Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day facilities grounds crew duties including weed eating, leaf blowing, pressure washing, basic golf cart maintenance, and synthetic turf maintenance on baseball and slax fields. Clean debris from grounds, synthetic turf, dug outs, outdoor seating, and parking areas while assisting with event setup and break down. Operate small to medium equipment such as rakes, shovels, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and pressure washing machines. Maintain synthetic turf on baseball and slax fields and sand volleyball courts. Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed by staff while providing quality customer service to the park and facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work weekdays, 8am-5pm
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License
- Must be able to follow all policies and procedures
- Excellent mathematical, multitasking, and computer skills
- Experience operating small to med grounds crew equipment, rake, shovel, leaf blower, weed eater, pressure washing machine, etc
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to work cooperatively and lead in a group setting and by oneself with limited supervision to complete the assigned task(s)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
- Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and use hands repetitively
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to operate golf cart, hand and forklifts, synthetic turf cleaning machine, etc
- Must be able to perform weed eating, leaf blowing, pressure washing, basic golf cart maintenance, riding synthetic turf maintenance equipment and aerial lifts
- Must be able to perform digging, irrigation and pipe
- Must be able to clean debris from grounds, synthetic turf, dug outs, outdoor seating, parking area, etc
- Must be able to maintain synthetic turf on baseball and slax fields, maintain sand volleyball court
- Must be able to assist with event set up and break down
- Must be able to assist with securing equipment
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions from superiors and ensures the timely and quality completion of those assigned tasks
- Must be able to provide quality customer service to park and facility
- Must be able to work occasional weekends or holidays
