Job Summary
Lead weekly outdoor adventure trips, including hiking, camping, and canoeing, while supervising direct care activities and client therapeutic progress. Plan and oversee daily ministry, recreational, and discipleship programs in assigned halls, ensuring alignment with program philosophy and policy procedures. Conduct Bible studies, provide spiritual leadership, and apply behavioral management techniques to support client treatment goals. Coordinate with clinical and academic departments, maintain accurate supply inventories, and complete daily logging and reporting for all assigned periods. Ensure all staff and clients receive required training in crisis intervention, first aid, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 30 hours of training in childcare or related field
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Training in Crisis Intervention
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 21 years of age
- Mature and Godly character
- Must meet the requirements of the Arkansas department of human services for residential care staff
- Background check clearance
