Job Summary
Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members. Communicate with the team lead and members to resolve issues and attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals. Identify problems, implement solutions to improve processes, and maintain accurate attendance records while approving payroll. Partner to find efficient processes, encourage team suggestions, and provide positive coaching to hold members accountable to defined KPIs. Resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner. This role supports the Production/Warehouse team at BSN Sports, a leader in team athletic gear, promoting a team environment through safety, quality, and operational success.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
- Previous leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Solution oriented minded
- Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to perform with minimal direction
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and in varying departments in support of the operation
- Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to lift 15-35 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be available for 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays during peak operations (Aug-Dec)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in SAP a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
