Outbound Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
Lead warehouse operations by ensuring injury-free safety, managing personnel, and driving efficient inbound receiving and outbound loading. Direct and supervise associates on-floor, including loaders, selectors, and forklift drivers, while overseeing shift scheduling, dock assignments, and inventory staging. Monitor productivity reports, address performance gaps through coaching, and maintain facility safety and sanitation standards. Work Sunday through Thursday with a Friday possibility, starting at 3:30 pm, with occasional travel for meetings. This role supports US Foods' mission to partner with restaurants and foodservice operators through safe, profitable warehouse execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
- High school diploma or GED
- 10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training
- Must be able to perform physical activities including standing occasionally, walking frequently, driving a vehicle occasionally, sitting frequently, lifting 1-10 lbs occasionally, carrying 1-10 lbs continuously, pushing/pulling occasionally, climbing/balancing occasionally, stooping/squatting occasionally, kneeling occasionally, bending occasionally, reaching above shoulder occasionally, twisting occasionally, grasping objects occasionally, manipulating objects occasionally, and manual dexter...
