Job Summary
Lead a Sunday through Thursday warehouse team, ensuring safety-first culture and injury-free operations through coaching, training, and direct supervision of loaders, selectors, and forklift drivers. Direct associates to achieve accurate orders, manage inbound dock designations, and oversee staging for shipping and receiving while monitoring productivity reports and correcting behavioral gaps. Coordinate hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions to build high-performing teams, analyze inventory shrinkage, and implement cost-control recommendations. Maintain facility safety, equipment condition, and strict adherence to Master Sanitation Schedule and food safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
- High school diploma or GED
- 10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training
- Must be able to lift 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) occasionally
- Must be able to lift 11-20 lbs (Light) occasionally
- Must be able to lift 21-50 lbs (Medium) occasionally
- Must be able to lift 51-100 lbs (Heavy) occasionally
- Must be able to lift Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) never
