Job Summary
Oversee outbound shipping operations on the PM shift, coaching 15–30 associates, and directing sortation, trailer loading, and shipment documentation for multi-modal operations (including small parcel, LTL, and FTL) with emphasis on international compliance. Lead daily outbound operations plans, ensure On-Time Ship targets, promote safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement throughLEAN/Six Sigma practices. Responsible for onboarding, training, and mentoring outbound associates on SOPs, shipping software, and quality standards; perform daily performance check-ins and quality audits to prevent mis-ships, while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring proper trailer and carrier documentation. The role requires strong communication, data-driven problem solving, and the ability to supervise a fast-paced night-shift team in a high-volume shipping environment.
