Job Summary
Outbound Operations Manager leading cross-functional outbound logistics to optimize efficiency and safety, overseeing trailer yard operations, team training, customer issue resolution, and cost-saving process improvements while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience within a distribution center or similar environment
- 1+ year’s proven experience in a managerial role and/or leading teams
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with proactive approach
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Lean six sigma and project management skills (preferred)
- Experience performing various quality functions (inspection, control, assurance, audits) (preferred)
- Customer-centric spirit and data-driven mindset (preferred)
