Job Summary
Make outbound calls to mineral owners using provided lead lists to qualify prospects interested in selling their rights. Book qualified appointments and hand off interested sellers to the acquisitions lead. Follow up across multiple touchpoints including phone, text, and email while maintaining organized records of outreach activity. Collaborate with the team to refine messaging and work within structured follow-up processes to nurture leads effectively. This role requires handling high-volume outreach in Eastern Time, with flexibility for evening calls up to 7 PM ET, and involves building trust quickly with rural, conservative audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent conversational skills
- Proven ability to handle high-volume outbound outreach
- Ability to build rapport quickly and comfortably with a wide range of people
- Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently as an independent contractor
- Fluent English
- Neutral, easy-to-understand accent
- Prior experience in appointment setting, cold calling, sales, or lead qualification
- Willingness to work Eastern Time hours (specifically up to 7 PM ET)
- Comfortable interacting with older, rural, and conservative U.S. mineral owners
- High emotional intelligence
- Ability to build trust quickly
- Comfortable with 'smile and dial' tactics
- Structured, multi-touch follow-up sequences
- Demonstrated ability to handle objections
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment
