Job Summary
Outbound Material Coordinator responsible for inspecting raw materials and finished parts, auditing production practices, and reporting non-conformances. Perform visual inspections and measurements using gauges/scales per work instructions; segregate non-conforming parts; complete documentation and data entry of results; conduct final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments; identify causes of non-conformance when required. Role operates on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery; safety-sensitive with pre-employment drug testing requirements. Emphasis on accuracy, measurement instrument proficiency, and adherence to QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
- Ability to learn correct use of basic measurement instruments (tape measure, scales, gauges)
- Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to accurately inspect basic material, commodities, and/or processes
