Job Summary
Direct and coordinate outbound warehouse operations for foodservice and food-related products, overseeing order selection, loading, and stacking while managing nightshift activities. Lead personnel management by assessing training needs, providing staff coaching, and handling disciplinary actions to ensure team performance aligns with goals. Reduce shrink and eliminate injuries by enforcing safety policies, analyzing operational issues, and optimizing travel time and slot utilization. Monitor customer special specifications, review team compensation plans, and independently assign daily tasks or counsel employees on corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline preferred
- 3 years operations/warehouse experience in shipping and receiving the perishable product
- a minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
- a combination of education, supervisory and industry experience
- Knowledge of shipping practice and procedures
