Job Summary
Classify shipping options according to pick-up schedules and prioritize daily tasks to optimize team productivity and accuracy. Train new and existing pickers and packers while troubleshooting exceptions to ensure continuous processing. Report attendance, request additional resources based on forecasted units, and provide daily productivity packing and picking reports. Benchmark and evaluate employees, test new process improvements, and order supplies as necessary. This role supports the Cerritos, California warehouse team in maintaining high standards for premium apparel fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly effective training skills and techniques
- Basic working knowledge of communicating through emails
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Proven work experience in a warehouse environment (as lead/supervisor or above)
- Dependable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse picking and packaging leading a large group
- Computer literate in Excel, Word and email
- Experience with a WMS system
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
