Outage Manager

Direct leadership for safety and environmental compliance for outage activities, personnel, and results; provides supervision to Outage Planner Schedulers; promotes productivity and teamwork with open communication and timely decision making; develops technical, leadership, and business skills of employees to carry out responsibilities; maintains a strong focus on customer and stakeholder satisfaction; coordinates with Planning and Scheduling to implement work management best practices; ensures work management reports are established and provided to maintenance and operations; oversees manpower planning and allocation of resources across outages; conducts field inspections of job sites; maintains relationships with employees and other departments; ensures regulatory compliance and continuous improvement; requires 8+ years of power plant operation, maintenance, planning, and outages experience; preferred Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; strong leadership, planning, and scheduling skills; proficient in SAP work orders, PowerSAM, and work management systems; ability to travel occasionally and operate a vehicle; valid driver’s license; strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with performance reporting and data analysis; demonstrates accountability and teamwork across plant operations and engineering functions.
