Job Summary
Coordinate youth and preschool programming, including structured outdoor education and recreational activities. Develop curriculum and thematic lesson plans for program participants while ensuring safe arrival and departure of children. Maintain departmental safety policies, manage outdoor sports equipment, and communicate schedules with parents. Resolve program concerns and support the overall operation of Out of School Time initiatives. Work Monday through Friday with varying hours depending on season, including camp rotations. Join a collaborative team dedicated to outdoor learning and youth development in the Hanover community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of relevant experience working with youth programming, which may include internships or apprenticeships
- Background or demonstrated experience in outdoor educational or recreational programming for school-age children
- Basic writing and computational skills
