Job Summary
Plan and implement daily academic enrichment classes while supervising school-aged children enrolled in the program. Provide a positive, safe, and memorable experience for all children and families involved in afterschool and summer programs. Facilitate consistent communication with families and serve as a positive role model and mentor to encourage participation in activities. Operate with FKO's character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in all interactions. Maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment where children can thrive. This part-time role offers daily paid planning time and professional development days. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass background checks, and hold a creative personality to implement curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Pass CORI, Background and Fingerprint Check
- Experience working with school age children (5-14 years of age)
- Creative and fun personality
- Excited and committed to making a difference in childrens lives
- Willing to accept other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
