Job Summary
Plan and implement daily academic enrichment classes for school-aged children (5-14 years) while supervising them in a safe, fun environment. Facilitate consistent communication with families and serve as a positive role model and mentor to encourage participation and realize potential. Provide a physically and emotionally safe experience that incorporates values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community groups to support holistic learning. Enjoy daily paid planning time and professional development days. This part-time role offers free college courses and scholarship assistance for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Pass CORI, Background and Fingerprint Check
- Experience working with school age children (5-14 years of age)
- Creative and fun personality to implement curriculum and activities
- Excited and committed to making a difference in children's lives
- Willing to accept other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
