Job Summary
OST Educator at FKO is a part-time role working with school-aged children (5-14) in after-school and summer programs. Responsibilities include supervising children, planning and implementing daily academic enrichment, communicating with families, mentoring and serving as a positive role model, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and upholding the organization’s values. Opportunities include access to free college courses, scholarship programs, internship/practicum experiences, daily paid planning time, and professional development days. Minimum age 18 with CORI/background/fingerprint checks; prior experience with school-age children highly valued. Willing to take on additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
