Job Summary
Plan and implement daily academic enrichment classes while supervising school-aged children enrolled in the program. Facilitate consistent communication with families and serve as a positive role model and mentor to encourage children to participate in all activities. Provide a physically and emotionally safe, fun, and memorable environment for children to thrive, incorporating values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This part-time position offers daily paid planning time and paid professional development days. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a CORI background check, and demonstrate experience working with children aged 5-14. As a key collaborator with parents, teachers, and community groups, you will strive to achieve FKO goals while supporting the holistic needs of children through their out-of-school time programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Pass CORI, Background and Fingerprint Check
- Experience working with school age children (5-14 years of age)
- Creative and fun personality
- Excited and committed to making a difference in children's lives
- Willing to accept other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
