Job Summary
Lead OUSW financial policy FMR initiatives by establishing goals, applying advanced data analytics to assess reporting accuracy, and evaluating risks to recommend corrective actions aligned with FMR guidance. Provide technical and management leadership on major tasks, direct junior personnel, and deliver briefings supporting compliance efforts. Ensure analytical outcomes drive overall project implementation success while advising on FBwT-related policy interpretation. Requires 12+ years of federal financial management experience, a Master's degree, and deep DoW FMR knowledge. Secret clearance required for hybrid work at Mark Center or Pentagon.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience in federal financial management or policy
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Deep knowledge of DoW Financial Management Regulation (FMR)
- Advanced data analytics and financial data interpretation skills
- Experience providing senior-level technical leadership and decision support
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of War (OUSW) or other major DoW components
- CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certification preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or financial systems such as DAI, DEAMS, GFEBS, DCAS, or similar
- Experience briefing senior leadership on financial policy matters
