Job Summary
Conduct POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight, and waist measurements, and accurately record findings on the system. Draw two blood samples, ensuring correct labeling and storage, while monitoring participant wellbeing and escalating concerns as needed. Complete patient observation duties including heart rate and blood pressure checks. Requires a Phlebotomy certificate, one year of active blood drawing experience, and UK right to work. Shifts run Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to 7:30pm with hourly rates ranging from £18.00 to £25.78. Weekly pay and accrued holiday are included.
Required Qualifications
- A Certificate in Phlebotomy
- A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood
- Experience taking patient observations
- Excellent patient care skills
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Not a resident within the Red or Amber List of the Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Health and Social Care Personnel in England
