Job Summary
Conduct POCT cholesterol checks, measure height, weight, and waist circumference, and monitor vital signs including heart rate and blood pressure. Draw two blood samples, ensuring correct labeling and storage, while accurately recording all findings on the system. Monitor participant wellbeing throughout appointments and escalate concerns where appropriate. This role requires a Phlebotomy certificate, one year of active blood drawing experience, and patient observation skills. Shifts run Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to 7:30pm with competitive hourly pay ranging from £18.00 to £25.78.
Required Qualifications
- A Certificate in Phlebotomy
- A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood
- Experience taking patient observations
- Excellent patient care skills
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Not a resident within the Red or Amber List of the Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Health and Social Care Personnel in England
