Job Summary
Perform mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repair of mining tires while conducting inspections to ensure safety and performance standards. Operate tire service equipment including manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks, and work closely with site maintenance teams to support operations. Maintain clean, organized work areas, manage tire-related inventory, and document all activities within Kal Tire systems. Follow all site safety procedures, use PPE, and report hazards during 14/14 rotations with 12-hour days in Blackwater, BC. Full training provided for candidates without prior OTR experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence
- Successful completion of: Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Physical assessment
- Criminal record check
- Ability to operate tire service equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically capable of handling heavy materials safely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 14/14 rotations
- 12-hour days
- Averaging agreement
