Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer conforming to DOT requirements, making deliveries to customers and scanning cases to ensure correct item placement. Complete pre-trip and post-trip DVIRs, pick up returns as necessary, and collect payments when required. Input data on a hand-held device while adhering to all safety policies and attending company meetings. Work overtime as needed and handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 lbs and working in temperatures ranging from -10 to 55+ degrees. Sleep out two nights per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current and valid Class A CDL License and Medical Card
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to be certified on all equipment used on shift by Kuna Foodservice
- Must be at least 18 years of ages
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Must have sufficient reasoning capabilities to solve practical problems
- Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures
- Must be able to work overtime, as required
