Job Summary
Operate a fully functioning mobile clinic RV to transport medical equipment and staff to events via interstate commerce while maintaining full vehicle service and compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate with operational teams regarding logistical movements, manage travel logs electronically, and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vehicles. Initiate contingency plans for accidents or severe weather, ensure route adherence, and maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays with extended hours per DOT guidelines, residing within the Central North region. This role supports veterans in need through collaboration with a small medical team, with comprehensive onboarding training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in the Central North region of the United States
- High School Diploma, or GED
- 3 to 5 years of commercial driving experience
- An ability to pass DOT medical examination for commercial drivers
- 21 years of age or older, as outlined by the DOT
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record for 3 to 5 years
- A valid U.S. Driver's License and ability/willingness to drive between work locations
- Residency within 50 miles or less from a major airport
- An ability to pass background check including random drug testing and maintain drug free required by DOT
Desired Qualifications
- Have knowledge of DOT commercial vehicle regulations
- Have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Have the ability to complete company expense reports in a timely manner according to company policy
