Job Summary
Conduct individual initial assessments, evaluations, and bio-psychosocial assessments to determine service eligibility. Facilitate treatment plans and provide direct individual and group counseling services while coordinating care with doctors, nurses, and therapists. Involve families in the recovery process, respond to patient grievances, and develop aftercare and discharge plans. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with one year of counseling experience, plus a current certification such as CADC or LADC II. Offers an awesome, stable schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM with free garage parking. Health Care Resource Centers is a progressive substance abuse treatment program committed to addressing opioid use disorder to help patients achieve long-term recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Science
- Associate's Degree or High School Diploma
- current certification
- 1 year of supervision
- CAC (Certified Addiction Counselor)
- CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
- CADC II
- Massachusetts state LADC II
- 1 year of individual counseling experience
- positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- drug screen
