Job Summary
Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to dispense prescribed medications in an outpatient substance use treatment setting, administer daily medications per program policy and medical protocols, operate automated dispensing systems, maintain dispensing equipment and records, ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances, manage medication inventory per DEA/state regulations, provide daily patient assessments, and assist Nursing Supervisor with orienting new staff. Requires MA LPN license, CPR certification, EMR/computer proficiency, and experience or familiarity with chemical dependency; role supports collaboration with physicians, nursing supervisors, and treatment teams.
Required Qualifications
- Current & good standing LPN license in the State of Massachusetts
- Current CPR certification required
- EMR & computer proficiency desired
- Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, must have a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
