Job Summary
Board-Certified Otolaryngologist sought for ENT surgical service at a 1C VA facility in Martinsburg, WV. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, admitting, treating, and managing diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck, including operative and non-operative care within approved privileges. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up, emergency coverage, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and developing treatment plans aligned with VHA standards. Teaching and mentoring medical students, interns, residents, technicians, and other physicians, along with interdisciplinary care coordination and compliance with licensure, board certification, credentialing, privileging, and mandatory training, are essential. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Requirements include MD/DO, completed Otolaryngology residency, AB Otolaryngology board certification, active U.S. medical license, and willingness to relocate if applicable. Relocation incentives are negotiable.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
