Job Summary
Board-Certified Otolaryngologist sought for ENT Surgical Service at a 1C VA Medical Center between the DC/Baltimore corridor and WV mountains. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with generous time off and FTCA malpractice coverage. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, admitting, treating, and managing diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck; operative and non-operative care within approved privileges; inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up; emergency on-call coverage; ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies; developing treatment plans per VHA standards; teaching and mentoring medical students, interns, residents, technicians, and other physicians; participating in interdisciplinary care coordination; maintaining licensure, board certification, credentialing, and mandatory training. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Graduation from an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology residency
- Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
