Job Summary
Fellowship-trained head & neck oncologic surgeon sought to join the University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (with the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center) as an HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. The successful candidate will provide patient care, teach residents and students, participate in university/public service, and contribute to scholarly activity. Clinical duties include ablative procedures such as thyroid/parathyroid, upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, TORS, and salivary gland surgery; training in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy is preferred but not required. Location: Irvine, CA; the department is part of an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology
- eligible to apply for a California medical license
- fellowship-trained head & neck oncologic surgeon
