Job Summary
Fellowship-trained head & neck oncologic surgeon sought to join the University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery as an HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. The successful candidate will participate in patient care for thyroid/parathyroid and upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, use of TORS and microvascular techniques, and contribute to teaching residents and students, university/public service, and scholarly activity within a comprehensive cancer center. Board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology and California medical license eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship training in head & neck oncologic surgery
- Board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology
- Eligibility to apply for a California medical license
- Experience in thyroid/parathyroid, upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, TORS, advanced cutaneous malignancies, and salivary gland surgery is desirable
- Training in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy is preferred but not required
- Faculty role includes patient care, teaching residents and students, university/public service, and scholarly activity
