Job Summary
Fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon sought to join UC Irvine's Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, in conjunction with the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. The HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology will participate in patient care, teaching residents and students, university and public service, and scholarly activity. The successful candidate will have fellowship training in head & neck surgical oncology with ablative roles including thyroid/parathyroid, upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), advanced cutaneous malignancies and salivary gland surgery. Training in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy is preferred but not required. Faculty are expected to actively participate in the department's mission and collaborate with radiation oncology, medical oncology, and rehabilitation services as part of the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Orange County, California.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology
- fellowship-trained in head & neck oncologic surgery
- eligible to apply for a California medical license
