Job Summary
Fellowship-trained head & neck oncologic surgeon sought to join the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery as an HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. Responsibilities include providing patient care for thyroid/parathyroid and upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, performing TORS, managing advanced cutaneous malignancies and salivary gland surgery, with training in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy preferred. Faculty are expected to contribute to teaching residents and students, university/public service, and scholarly activity within an NCIdesignated comprehensive cancer center. The role interacts with radiation, medical oncology, and rehabilitation services and is based in Orange County, CA, with Los Angeles area affiliations referenced in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology
- Fellowship-trained in head and neck oncologic surgery
- Eligible to obtain California medical license
- HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology (title/role)
- Active participation in patient care, teaching residents and students, university/public service, professional competency and scholarly activity
