Job Summary
General and Pediatric Otolaryngology faculty opportunities at UTMB Health in Galveston/League City, TX. Responsibilities include clinical practice at League City and Galveston campuses, patient care, and resident/medical student teaching; opportunities to participate in all aspects of clinical practice, as well as resident and medical student teaching; clinical research is encouraged but not mandatory. The department supports research in basic science, clinical outcomes, and clinical trial projects, with leadership and career advancement opportunities and a salary that is commensurate with academic rank. Applicant requirements include MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology, completion of fellowship when required, strong commitment to patient care and education, excellent communication skills, and ability to obtain a Texas medical license. A relocation allowance and comprehensive benefits package are available.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Completion of specialty specific Otolaryngology Fellowship (when required)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state of Texas Medical License
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
