Job Summary
Otolaryngology faculty opportunities at UTMB Health in Galveston and League City, TX. The roles include General Otolaryngology and Pediatric Otolaryngology with responsibilities in all aspects of clinical practice, as well as resident and medical student teaching. Opportunities exist for clinical research support but are not mandatory. The department emphasizes contemporary, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary patient care, with opportunities for leadership and career advancement, and a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level. The package includes a relocation allowance and other potential incentives; compensation is commensurate with academic rank, experience, and qualifications. Candidates should have an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology, and the ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license. Excellent communication skills and engagement in scholarly activities are desired.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Completion of specialty-specific Otolaryngology Fellowship (when required)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
