Job Summary
Otolaryngology Faculty Opportunities in UTMB Health’s Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Positions include General Otolaryngology and Pediatric Otolaryngology with responsibilities in clinical practice, resident and medical student teaching, and opportunities for research. Candidates should hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, be board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology, have completed a related fellowship when required, and possess the ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license. U.S. citizenship or employment authorization is required. A relocation allowance and competitive benefits are offered. The roles include seeing patients in League City and Galveston campuses, with a light call schedule and emphasis on education, patient care, and scholarly activity.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology.
- Completion of specialty specific Otolaryngology Fellowship (when required).
- A strong commitment to patient care, medical student, and resident education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Participation in research and scholarly activities.
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state of Texas Medical License.
