Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck through comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and follow-up care, while performing office-based procedures within scope of practice. Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, post-procedural care, and disease prevention. Collaborate closely with the supervising ENT physician and multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current on evidence-based ENT practices. Full-time hospital-employed position with a base salary of $135K–$140K, located in Amsterdam, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Prior ENT office experience
- Advanced clinical knowledge
- Critical thinking
- Ability to independently evaluate and manage a wide variety of otolaryngologic conditions
- Excellent clinical judgment
- Procedural proficiency
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered specialty care
- Adherence to Standard Precautions
- Utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
