Job Summary
The role involves diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, and throat, providing comprehensive examinations, performing surgeries, and managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates should possess an MD or DO with residency completion in otolaryngology and board certification. Skills in communication, surgical procedures, and familiarity with EMR systems are essential. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent
- Completion of a U.S.-accredited residency program in otolaryngology
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited institution
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Otolaryngology
- Must meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards
- Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license
- Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- BLS or ACLS required
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and emergency care
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based medicine
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Three (3) years of experience working with a community clinic is highly desirable
- Established leadership skills
