Job Summary
Read customer orders, select merchandise, and pack items into boxes or totes while maintaining high accuracy and utilizing safe lifting techniques for loads up to 50 pounds. Rotate through functions including Box making, Stocker, Inductor, Runner, and Auto Bagger as needed to ensure orders are processed, verified, and sealed for shipment. Handle freight to and from Sure Sort Machines and Auto Baggers, identifying mispicked items and communicating issues on the conveyer system. Maintain regular attendance and ability to work overtime during high-volume periods. Part-time schedule with weekly hours of 16.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
- 0 to 3 years of prior relevant work experience
- Must be 18 years old
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately
- Ability to lift 30-50 regularly and up to 75lbs with a team lift
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to process large amounts of data with high levels of accuracy
- Must be able to work overtime and the weekends as needed to include high volume periods
- Proven ability to be a collaborator who is comfortable working in a team-based environment
Desired Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of prior relevant work experience
- Prior Warehouse Experience
- Ability to be certified on required Equipment
