Job Summary
Support clients with fine, gross, and visual motor skills while assisting with sensory, emotional regulation, cognition, and activities of daily living. Provide effective communication with clients and team members, educate and train caregivers to ensure skill carryover, and complete documentation in a timely manner. Travel to multiple locations within your assigned region to deliver individualized care for pediatric and adult clients with special needs in home environments. Earn a competitive daily rate of $85 with paid training and ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- A valid New York State OT License
- Proficiency in outpatient therapy techniques and home health practices
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to effectively treat diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport with patients
- Demonstrating empathy
- Demonstrating patience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
