Job Summary
Occupational Therapists are responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services according to applicable standards to ensure quality care. Duties include performing evaluations, creating care plans, collaborating with COTAs and staff regarding patient progress, and documenting therapy notes. Candidates must have a valid Occupational Therapy license and CPR certification, with preferred experience in a skilled nursing facility. Strong communication and independent decision-making skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current and valid Occupational Therapy license
- Must possess a current and valid CPR certification
- 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace
