OT Systems Engineer - Beverage Manufacturing

Job Summary
Support and troubleshoot OT systems, including MES, OEE, PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms to resolve production issues and prevent future failures. Provide hands-on assistance to the automation team by explaining technical problems in clear language and balancing project work with daily plant-floor support. Monitor system performance to identify improvement opportunities while working across both legacy and modern manufacturing systems. Partner with operations teams to drive system upgrades and plant-requested changes. This hands-on role offers early-career professionals a chance to learn new technology and solve complex problems within a beverage manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC.
Required Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in controls, OT, automation, IT or engineering within manufacturing
- Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, HMI or similar control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work hands-on, on the plant floor, in a production environment
- Able to communicate technical information in simple terms
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MES, OEE or other manufacturing systems
- Exposure to OT/IT infrastructure or systems integration
