Job Summary

Administer, monitor, and maintain OT systems including industrial networks, server infrastructure, and the Foxboro control system platform to ensure high availability and security in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Plan, design, and sustain network architecture with segmentation and access control while managing backups, disaster recovery, and patch management aligned with production schedules. Support automation initiatives, plant expansions, and system upgrades by procuring hardware and coordinating with Foxboro field support as the primary technical interface. Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs while acting as the primary liaison between IT, engineering, operations, and external vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering, preferably in OT/industrial environments
  • 2–3 years in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience designing and maintaining OT networks (segmentation, VLANs, firewalls, DMZ)
  • Strong server administration background (VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, patching, OT-appropriate backup/recovery)
  • Understanding of Purdue Model / ISA-95 architecture
  • Familiarity with OT cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443) and implementation of controls
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA)
  • Experience in 24/7, safety-critical manufacturing environments with high uptime requirements
  • Strong documentation practices (network diagrams, configs, change logs, backups)
  • Experience with industrial asset visibility tools
