Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) to conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each resident’s needs and functional abilities; use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to improve daily living activities; ensure therapy plans align with overall care plans; monitor and document residents’ progress; educate residents' families and caregivers about rehabilitation techniques and safety at home; adhere to safety protocols and professional standards; license in PA required; BLS preferred; SNF/geriatric experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Previous experience in a SNF or geriatric setting is preferred
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
