Job Summary
Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including adaptive equipment procurement. Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize patient independence. Maintain communication across the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members. Document services thoroughly for billing compliance and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care. This full-time role in Huntington, WV covers Mason/Putnam/Cabell/Lincoln areas with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy
