OT Network Engineer

OT Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimise secure OT network infrastructure for critical data centre sites in the Siziano/Milan area. You will support OT systems including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and work with internal teams and vendors to maintain network availability, performance, and security. This hands-on, site-based role involves installing and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices; monitoring performance; investigating incidents; contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement; and participating in out-of-hours or emergency support. Required skills include Cisco networking technologies, Fortinet security solutions, LAN/WAN, VPN, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP, network security principles, and experience with OT systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs) is desirable. Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and bilingual communication in Italian and English are needed, with a preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). The role is hybrid with a focus on the Milan area and requires proximity to Milan or relocation plans.
