Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for in-home care with Mansfield, OH service area. Responsible for evaluating patients’ functional status, home environment hazard assessment, developing and communicating plans of care, coordinating with physicians and other professionals, teaching or retraining daily living activities, fabricating splints and instructing on adaptive equipment, training patients in prosthetic/orthotic devices, maintaining clinical records, contributing to discharge planning, supervising OT assistants, and coordinating with care teams. Requires two years of clinical OT experience, accredited OT education, state licensure and CPR/TB clearance, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to patient homes and a local office with some remote work flexibility. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA and AOTA
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Must be a licensed driver with a vehicle in good working order and insured
- Current CPR Certification
- Recent TB test
- Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
