Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patients' functional skills and independence. Provide therapeutic interventions using adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and exercises tailored to each patient's goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to coordinate care and support patient progress. Document patient progress, update treatment plans as necessary, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The OT role supports patients in enhancing autonomy and participation in daily activities within home, work, or community environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy licensure to practice in the United States
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
- Experience conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations
