Job Summary
Advanced Clinician in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology responsible for comprehensive evaluation, treatment and discharge planning for a full patient caseload across acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings. Performs advanced therapy evaluations, develops and implements treatment plans, conducts discharge planning, mentors staff, conducts staff education and competency assessments, and contributes to program development and performance improvement. Documents patient progress, shares clinical expertise through internal/external forums, engages in teaching with students and residents, and participates in research activities. Requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to evidence-based practice, and provision of ongoing clinical education needs. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in SLP or a Bachelor’s/Master’s in OT/PT with extensive clinical experience (7 years total with significant specialty practice).
