Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) for home health in the Central Cincinnati, OH area. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients’ functional status; assessing home environments for safety and coordinating adaptive equipment; developing individualized plans of care; performing work capacity evaluations; designing and implementing treatment programs to improve function; communicating progress to physicians and the team; teaching activities of daily living; fabricating and fitting splints and assisting with adaptive devices; maintaining clinical documentation; coordinating with other professionals; educating families and caregivers; supervising COTAs; and participating in discharge planning. Travel is required with mileage reimbursement; compensation ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Requires graduate OT education, licensure in Ohio, and ability to work independently within a home-health context.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
- Active license to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of Ohio
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
- 2 years of previous clinical experience as an occupational therapist, preferred
- Active license to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of Ohio
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
